Old Cart House

The Old Cart House is in the same location as Cromwell’s Manor, it is a red brick and timber former barn built in 1690. It has wonderful views over the lake and the Cheshire country side.
The Old Cart House has kept its old word feel but has many up to date features throughout .
The main living space is on the first floor and is open plan ,it has comfortable sofa’s a dinning table for six and an easy kitchen to cook in with granite work surfaces and a butlers sink .

Cromwells Manor

Cromwells Manor Cromwells Manor is reputed to have been slept in by Oliver Cromwell during the battle of Nantwich, built in 1620, and is a Grade II listed former barn.
The property has been sympathetically restored to a high standard, but still retains many of the original features whilst providing accommodation for eight guests.
Situated in the grounds of Woodhey Hall, a Cheshire dairy farm set in glorious unspoilt countryside, the barn has a well-fenced garden, patio, garden furniture and barbecue.
It also has access to a large games lawn and super outdoor children’s play area along with an indoor games room offering table tennis, pool and many games and toys.

The location offers fishing and many country walks.

The historic town of Nantwich is five miles away with quaint tea rooms, independent shops, pubs, lots of places to eat. 
Visit the lovely St Marys Church.

Take a stroll down our country lanes and visit the Thatch Public house which serves excellent food.

There is much to see and do in the area including Cholmondeley Castle and Gardens which has a game fair and other events during the year. Other attractions include day trips on the canal, Beeston Castle and Tatton Park, with its many events and RHS Flower Show.
